dc.description.abstractLa redistribución de la tierra favoreció el crecimiento económico de China, Corea del Sur, Japón y Taiwán. En estos países, la distribución, aunada al apoyo estatal, contribuyó en buena medida a la subsecuente industrialización de sus economías. La literatura reconoce el notable desarrollo del Este Asiático. Sin embargo, en otras naciones, especialmente de África y Latinoamérica, las reformas agrarias distributivas no evidencian resultados satisfactorios en materia de desarrollo. Este artículo revisa la literatura sobre las contribuciones de la distribución de la tierra al desarrollo de algunos países que padecieron o padecen alta concentración de tierra y problemas de pobreza.spa
